Car play meets blocks, in this well designed creativity activity. First you snap together a vehicle using a 17 x 20 grid, surrounded by different vehicle related, LEGO inspired bricks that drag and drop from a set of well designed menus. You can either freely make cars from scratch, or use one of the templates. There's a nice variety of options, and you can design just about any kind of vehicle, including one with wheels on the top (handy if it turns over). Next it's off to the test track, which offers a variety of spatial challenges. You learn that it is easy to get stuck in a tunnel, and that the only way out is to backtrack. We would've liked an overhead map view, as a hint. There are 23 types of wheels. When a car or truck created, it can be run on a variety of interesting physical roads.
