Expensive but well designed, this combination of LEGO bricks and programming tools leverages the power of your tablet to give you a finger-programming experience, with drag-and-drop commands. Designed for elementary classrooms, the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 is designed to combine traditional LEGO blocks with hands-on coding by way of a touch screen, and wireless connectivity. The core set is $160 for two students, and is delivered in a plastic storage bin with sorting trays, labels, a Smarthub controller, a Medium Motor, motion sensor, tilt sensor, and building elements for two students. The starter kit includes just one "Get Started" project. If you want the rest of the ideas and the curriculum, you'll have to pay $290 for the Classroom kit.
