CTR Review

This is a well designed silicon wrist band motion detector that snaps onto your wrist. It is powered by one li-metal DL2032 "coin" battery lasts for about 20 hours of continuous use. The battery is pre-installed and the Moff Band goes into 'idle mode' after 2 minutes of inactivity. The battery case unscrews, and has been designed so that it is difficult to open for young children, yet easy to access for adults. Battery access worries are minimal. The Moff Band requires an Android or Apple smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth, and a Moff Band compatible app. We tested PBS Kids Party. Once paired Bluetooth, the Moff Band can be up to 30 feet away from the device to be detected. One device (phone, tablet, etc.) can support two Moff Bands at once, for collaborative play.
