Nice illustrations meet dry pedagogy in this one player app that contains 250 rather mostly multiple-choice style math quizzes, arranged in increasing difficulty. The math problems are spiced up with the narrative element -- you are on a mission to visit five nicely illustrated worlds with original artwork. The story is set loosely on a Math archipelago which is controlled by the selfish Maths Monster who cannot figure out how to do Math. The number inhabitants have been held captive and only a Power Up Kid can save them. Accuracy is rewarded with keys that you use to unlock the next level, and progress is tracked. There are no time limits. This could be a solution for home schoolers in need of a complete math solution. It covers counting, addition, subtraction, identifying shapes and measurement skills.
