Color Zoo
© 2015 ZOOLA Apps
The design is clunky but it doesn't really matter. This app gives children a very easy way to actively play with colors, by letting them try out different looks on a set of 18 animals. First you choose an animal. You see a picture along with a set of color options. When an animal is selected, its picture is displayed on the screen and children hear the name of the animal and the sound it makes. Children can then tap to select a color from the color palette to color the animal. When the color is selected, the animal is colored and children hear the name of the color. Colors include red, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, cyan, black and white. The app includes 18 different animals: dog, cat; horse; sheep; goose; cow; rabbit; chicken; pig; giraffe; elephant; monkey; hippopotamus; zebra; lion; bear; squirrel; and leopard. A quiz asks them to match colors.
