In the top down visual style of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, this journey lets three players (who must own the game) team up – each as Link – to cooperatively make their way through dungeons and battle bosses. You use a new "Totem mechanic" to stack three Links on top of each other to reach higher ground, solve puzzles and get more outfits. All three players share heath (hearts) so they must work together to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. Each dungeon has four main areas, and a single-player mode allows the player to rent two paper dolls to take along to complete the team of three and face challenges in dungeons. You can choose from a set of emoticons to communicate with each other while playing in multiplayer mode or team up with two other players in multiplayer mode via local wireless connection, online and with download play. Additional games and systems are required for multiplayer mode, sold separately. Broadband Internet access required for online play. Coming fall 2015.
