Cuphead

This unusual "run and gun" action game for one or two players has a fun, visually striking 1930's illustration style plus a jazz sound track. You haven't seen or heard anything like it, in part because the designers used the same animation techniques used in the 1930s. This means traditional cell animation was hand inked and appears slightly out of focus. In the game, you play as either Cupman or Mugman in co-op or single player mode, trying to move through each level to earn new abilities and moves. The game was inspired by Super Mario Bros., Gunstar Heroes, Contra, Streetfighter and The Thunderforce series. Coming in 2016.
