From the creators of LittleBigPlanet in the UK (Media Molecule) comes an intense, innovative single player game built around the capacity of Sony's PS4. Tearaway is a retelling of it's PS Vita predecessor (CTR Editor's Choice December 2013) on the big screen -- in clear 1080p. The game uses mechanics specifically designed around the new dualshock controller, including integration of the touchpad, light bar, motion controls and controller speakers. It also uses an optional "Companion App" that you load on your tablet or smartphone to access a "cutting mat" that lets you design new paper creations that you can send to the game with a swipe. The game engine creates a 3D animated world from sheets of paper to capture the real physics of paper material that includes 60 real papercraft plans of in-game objects and characters that can be printed, folded and kept on your desk. Also noteworthy is the PlayStation Camera Integration with new augmented reality features to further enhance gameplay and creative challenges. In addition, the Tearaway.me Community Site allows you to access your papercraft collection, in-game photos, and see photos from the Tearaway community.
