Loud, playful and fun, this toy/app combo celebrates the line of foldup transformer toys known as the Autobots and Decepticons. In the game, you use fast swipes to punch, or double taps to shoot as you fight against the Insecticons. The fighting is fun, and enemies are easily defeated. The more enemies you kill, the more points and power you earn. You also learn that you can move faster in the game if you own more than one transformer toy that has the correct scanning tag. The app is free, the Transformers toys range in price from $7.99 to $21.99. Features include: Tag Team Gameplay (you can select a teammate to take into battle with you); the ability to customize your character with new weapons and boosts by collecting Power Modules throughout the game; and transform into Vehicle Mode so you can drive. In addition, you can scan the shield of any Transformers: Robots in Disguise toy (sold separately) to unlock that Transformer in the game. These unlocks are also available through gameplay, so you don't need to purchase the toy to unlock them. The app contains commercials for Hasbro's Transformer toys.
