The new version (Bluebee Pals Pro) includes better fabric and an improved setup and bluetooth pairing process with spoken instructions. If you think of a bluetooth headset -- but only in the form of a plush toy with a moving mouth, you can understand the basic concept of Bluebee Pals Pro; a plush toy designed to work alongside your bluethooth enabled tablet or smart phone. No special app is required -- your Pal works with any app that makes a sound, responding both through a clear internal speaker and through the moving mouth. First, you must sync your pal to your Apple or Android phones and tablet. The animals “mouth” along (the mouths move) with stories or other learning apps. Features include a rechargeable battery (the USB charging cable is included). Apps that include narrated stories work better than apps with only background music. The company recommends iStorytime.
