Turn your iPad into a looping music machine with this easy to use, powerful sound editor from Sweden. The app is free, but it charges you through in-app purchases for precision editing ($2.99) or MIDI support ($5.99). Your loops can be up to four measures long; and each measure can contain up to ten cells, consisting of up to six different sound effects with labels like curved kit, dribble, puck and cross. You can adjust the pitch or volume of any cell using an innovative dial control mechanic. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, you can make some pretty impressive loops. You can create your own synth and drum loops. Tweak the sounds. Record and export your beats. New features (Version 1.2.1) include the ability to set the velocity for individual notes, or draw draw triplets or 1/32 notes.
