Sixteen classic Nintendo games fit on one cartridge for Nintendo 3DS. They include original versions of Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Kid Icarius. Additional features include challenges and mash-ups created from 8-bit NES titles including Speed Mario Bros. In NES Stages, snippets from original games are turned into timed minigames. For example, you could play as Link and be chased by Boo, or play as Mario in Kirby's Adventure. In Speed Mario, you can play through the entire Super Mario Bros. game at hyper speed, and compare your best time against others in your region with the online leaderboard. A Championship Mode lets you compete in three challenges from the Nintendo World Championships and Nintendo Campus Challenge, then check your score online. Other features include: Daily Challenges - check in daily to see which challenge has been selected, then try it out and see how you stack up against friends or others on the online leaderboards; and Famicom Remix Mode - unlock this mode by earning three stars in nearly every stage and you'll get new challenges from the Japanese version of NES Remix, some with different sound effects.
