Attention all elementary math teachers: download this app. Why? Because it can turn a child's fingers into math props, that dynamically link touches with math equations. Content includes four activities, each inspired by Jerome Bruner's “Three Modes of Representation.” Each asks you to create a target number through tracing, tapping in sets, or filling up a grid. A two player, split screen mode lets you race against another player, setting different levels of difficulty. Besides the racing drill, there's not much of a "game" element to this app, which could be part of it's appeal to classroom teachers. This is the type of app that works great when plugged into a larger screen. This app is based on the theories of Jerome Bruner. See The theory comes from Jerome Bruner.
