Designed to "teach children how to correctly write numerals" and "eliminate numeral reversals in preschool, kindergarten and first grade", this app book consists of ten narrated pages, each with a large numeral, that is slowly illustrated, as the page is narrated. There is no interaction, other than turning on/off the narrator or flipping the pages. We're not sure about this one. It raises the question - is it developmentally appropriate to introduce a baby or toddler to letter formation? Some, including the Picky Teacher, would ask "why not just wait until a child is older, when they have fine motor skills and when reversal issues naturally work themselves out."
