Amazing stop motion illustration meets limited design in this series of touch-and-hear adventures. In this case Windy, a girl, has lost her kite and it's up to you to help her find it. The stop motion design uses realistic materials and the graphics respond when the screen moves, making the entire adventure more engaging. The narration is nicely done. Extra features include a soundboard that turns the characters into looping musical patterns and the ability to toggle between French or English. We didn't like the prompt to rate this app that is part of the story. The quality of the illustrations qualified this app to be on the short list for the 2015 BolognaRagazzi Digital Prize.
