Bamba Airport
© 2014 Mezmedia
Featuring silly games, zany music and Toca Boca-style simplicity, Bamba Airport playful lets you "run an airport" by seating passengers, stamping passports, doing security checks, choosing food, and matching luggage with the correct passenger. Despite the excellent activities and the playful theme, the app has some serious flaws. It locks children in the activities, and some of the items don't respond when touched. In addition, you are prompted to rotate the screen when moving from the main menu. Given the intended age range, these are serious design issues. Are these issues fatal? Not necessarily. The theme of the games are excellent, and the characters are well developed. So children will want to play with this app. The app was made by Mezmedia, a studio based in Singapore who markets under the Bamba brand. See also Tiny Airport for a completely different approach to the airport topic.
