Senda and The Glutton Dragon
© 2014 Soyo Interactive SL
Beautiful illustrations and professional narration meet a solid story and plenty of touch points. In the fictional story, a dragon learns that a balanced diet is important. The story has typical "prince saves princess" gender stereotyping -- too bad the child can't have the choice about who saves who. Content includes 14 screens that pan left and right with a swipe to extend their size, with a nice 3D effect. A touch counter rewards the discovery of the animated objects on each screen with a star. Text scaffolding is solid, making this a good early language experience. You can toggle the narrator on or off, and words are highlighted as read. See also Senda and the Berry Elf.
