Create musical ice cream doodles with this zany open-ended experience, where failure isn't an option. Like the previous two apps from Bubl, even a very young child can have a successful experience, which makes this app worth the price of admission. You start by choosing one of three themes, each with a set of Gelato colors and different types of sprinkles. Each ball of ice cream has a different color, visual effect or voice. You can top it with berries, sprinkles, cookies or chocolate and feed it to a funny looking character who watches hungrily from the side. You discover that this app has a hidden international language experience treat. Each of the 18 scoops will sing the word "ice cream" in a different language. Musical styles include Bossa Nova, disco and classical. Our testers found that the vocals sound a bit like Katamari. Younger testers were captivated; older testers finished the app in about 15 minutes before they were onto somethings else. They wanted more creative control over the decorating. In other words, this app is packed with high calorie creativity, from the designer but not the child. Note: this app is called "Bubl Ice Cream" in the Google Play store. It is sold by Fox & Sheep.
