This app is designed to help toddlers and preschoolers learn numbers from 1-10 through tracing and playing short, solid games that vary in quality. You start by selecting the designated number from critters scrolling across the bottom of the screen. Choosing the correct number triggers a rhyming story that requires specific actions, for example, "Guide the frogs to the water bottles without being caught by the dogs", " Repeat the color pattern to get these chicks to perform silly tricks", or "Tilt left and right to catch those slippery fish on a dish". Content include 10 games, lots of instructions and clear animated illustrations. Need to know: leveling in this app could be tweaked -- some of the games are too hard to control; such as the game where you tilt to capture the hats on the fish. If you're looking for a supplementary counting app, this is a solid choice.
