iPad sketching and drawing programs are easy to find, but this is the first we've seen that lets you draw something that many children find fascinating -- cars. There are two parts to this app -- drawing and driving. To design a car, you can either start with a blank page (and two wheels) or choose from 27 themed templates that may incorporate a shark, bathtub or pirate ship. Drawing tools include two brushes, 16 colors, 24 tires and 23 stickers that include lights that flash. It is easy to undo or erase a mistake and you can save your work. Once your car is designed, you can take it for a drive on a side-scrolling road with plenty of bumps and bridges. There's not a lot of control over the car -- it can move forward or backward, and hop. There are many driving apps that operate the same way. As you drive, you can toggle between weather or night/day, and eventually unlock more stickers. All in all, this is a nicely designed app. Created in China.
