6/7/2017 See Monument Valley 2. Addicting, beautiful and leveled perfectly to keep you challenged (and confused), this is a set of ten optical illusion maze puzzles that is ideal for a child in need of a challenge. Your goal is to move a tiny figure (named Ida) through a series of moving paths in order to reach a goal. The first puzzle is easy enough for a younger player, mixing horizontal and vertical navigation thinking, so sometimes you're walking on the side of a monument, like a spider, but a hidden door or ramp flips the entire structure on its axis. Because your finger drives the transformation, the illusions are much more appealing. You can watch your path melt before your very eyes. You can adjust the sound, and progress is saved for one player. There's no shortage of visual surprises -- enough to keep you coming back to these puzzles, even after you've mastered them. There's an underlying mystical Asian theme theme, with totems and spirits. Why not a perfect score? There's no hint system, and the game suggests that you share each level on different social media services, with no age gate.
