Here's why: The graphics are amazing with lifelike 3D crowds that include 42 individual crowd member models, plus there are features that include community challenges and the ability to alter game situations on the fly. Testers liked how the game stays true to the realism of baseball, supporting 1-4 players and has a number of modes, including quick play, franchise mode, and mini games. It lets you play as any major league team, with control over the player management, and the artificial intelligence (AI) features include player fatigue. After the game, there are highlights, game analysis and log, performance evaluation, and a player of the game. MLB 14 is not a hard game to learn, but is also real enough to allow complex play styles for experienced players. This is one of the best MLB games made so far. Even non-baseball fans will like it.
