Marina and the Light
© 2013 DADA Company
Beautiful watercolor illustrations melt into one another, as you move through a 16 screen story that has no words. So you can supply the narrative. Children accompany a small girl, Marina, on a journey to the sea, where they discover the magic of the light. Interaction opportunities are limited to cause and effect (hence the lower ratings), but they always support the narrative. There is no control over the music or background sounds. Features include watercolor illustrations by Alberto Vazquez and original soundtrack composed of twelve songs by Daniel Herrero. This is one of the more beautiful apps we've encountered -- it's more like an interactive painting.CORRECTION June 5, 2014 The original review said that there were links on the last page.
