We've all heard the term "eBook." This app is better described as an "ePainting." Despite some limited interactive design, this 30 screen story contains beautiful art and music, with some clever interactive features. This story is about a snail who wants to learn more about her friends. She learns why is Wanda the Owl so clever, and how Leon the Chameleon hides so well. The story is presented in a rhyming structure. Some of the interactive elements are noteworthy -- the frogs eyes follow your finger, and the owl can try on different glasses. But the font is hard to read and is sometimes obscured by navigation elements. The interactive elements are designed to encourage readers to "join in and help shape Milli's world" but there's one balancing game that is clunky and less than responsive. There are typical settings for read alone or read to me; and there are two language options: German or English.
