Oceanhouse Media's The Cat in the Hat Learning Library continues to expand, with this playful collection of facts about reptiles, including snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocodiles. As you explore the text or the pictures, you can touch any word to hear how it sounds, plus see it zoom out to label an associated picture in the story. Highlighted words are linked to detailed information boxes. Everything is narrated, and the mixture of information and clear illustrations gives this app the feel of a hands on museum. If you're looking for games, this isn't your app. As with other Oceanhouse Media apps, it is easy to jump around to different screens or add your own narration.
