Need For Speed: Rivals
© 2013 Electronic Arts, Inc.
This addition to the Need For Speed series takes a new approach, recycling some classic gameplay. It combines attributes of earlier titles (Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted) and lets you play as either a racer or a cop. The point system is based on how well you drive. The points you gain from completing goals and races can be used for upgrades such as new cars and features, which are all purchased at the hideout (for racers) or command post (for cops). If you are busted by the police, you can lose points. Another interesting feature is called AllDrive, which allows you to switch from single player to online mode on the fly. According to CTR tester Corey: "Graphics look more detailed on PS4 and Xbox One games. I don't think you could do any better with graphics. I do have some complaints: There are only 26 cars in the game, compared to 62 cars for Most Wanted. Plus, while Redview County looks amazing, with delightful nature and variety of roads, there are no towns and can feel lonely at times, unlike Blaine County in Grand Theft Auto V. Hopefully EA will make some downloadable content (DLC) to increase number of vehicles."Learn more at http://www.ea.com/rivals
