Note that Edoki was formerly called Les Trois Elles Interactive. Designed to playfully introduce such concepts as "an obtuse angled isosceles triangle," Montessori Geometry can't be accused of talking down to young children. The app, designed for children from 5 to 10, lets younger children explore shapes, beyond the usual circle, triangle and square. For older children, there are 3D shapes. Content includes 23 different shapes in 2D and 3D, six "Shape-Finding Cities"-- scenes where you hunt and find shapes hidden in a world, a "magic paintbrush" option to reveal the hidden shapes and a 2-player game to cooperate and not compete. Progress is tracked -- as you find shapes you can earn medals which are stored on a "medals board." Created in France, the app is available in eight languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Japanese and Chinese.
