We were less than impressed by the Retro Duo Portable, or the RD Portable. This is a gadget that turns old Nintendo cartridges into a stand alone portable game system, complete with small LED screen and speakers. Because there were so many batteries, an AC adapter, and two external controllers to plug in, we were never able to get our unit working. According to the PR materials, the RDP can run "most 16-bit SNES games." It also works with "most 16-bit Genesis games" as long as you have a RetroGen Adapter (sold separately).
