The first original Final Fantasy title for the Nintendo DS and developed exclusively for the platform, the game lets you enter the fairy-tale world of the kingdom of Horne. In the story, Brandt awakes on the morning of his 14th birthday, the day he becomes an adult, and as such must follow the custom of going to the castle to present himself to the king. When he arrives, he finds the king distraught and the youngest princess missing, abducted by the Witch of the North, and now Brandt must embark on a mission to save her. The game features a battle system that operates on Action Points, and with a simple selection of commands you can dive right into a classic turn-based RPG battle experience. The Crown Job System offers a selection of over two dozen jobs to chose from, and you can customize a character's abilities and magic skills no matter which crown they have equipped. The game also features a multiplayer mode that allows for cooperative play for up to four players.
