Imagine a one-sided Rubik's Cube. What would it be like? In this year's electronic rendition of Rubik's Cube -- the third from Techno Source -- you first are shown a two color pattern on one of nine LEDs, and then try to copy it by twisting and shifting the top panel. Once the puzzle is solved, a harder puzzle is presented. There are two types of play: Free Play or Lightning Round, and three levels of difficulty with easy, medium and hard puzzles. Our testers were mixed about their experience with this puzzle. While they liked the puzzle, and found the top panel to be fun to twist, they found the experience to be nothing like a Rubik's Cube. Additional features include adjustable volume and a high score memory. Batteries are included.
