Vancouver 2010
© 2010 Sega
Realistic but hard to learn, Vancouver 2010 contains 14 Winter Olympic events including ski jumping, short track speed skating, snowboard cross and more. You can compete with up to three other players in your sport to try and earn a gold medal for your country. You can toggle between third person or a first person "Athlete View" that allows you to feel the speed. For example, the graphics blur on the bumps in the ski race. The game has embedded historical facts about past Winter Olympics. All content seems historical, and the designers clearly went out of the way to make this game look real. The game also features new single player challenge modes including Outrun the Avalanche and Beat the Blizzard. Testers gave the game a thumbs up... this is a good game to borrow. We tried the XBox 360 version.
