NOOK Kids is a series of main-stream picture books that run on the $250 NOOK Color e-reader. It is the kids content on Nook. The touch screen, (called "AliveTouch" technology) gives children the ability to tap to expand text or zoom into pictures. A "Read To Me" mode reads the story out loud. Two free books are included with the purchase: Richard Scarry's Colors and The Elephant's Child, will download automatically the first time you connect. According to the press release, "Interactive books with motion graphics are coming soon."
