School Loop Student Tracker

Student Tracker, which we did not test, is a system for "identifying students who need support and creating call to action for the education teams" for use in schools. With it, a principal can search for struggling students in a particular grade who are trending down in grades and send an email to all of their teachers, parents and counselors. He/she can also save the list in a group to stay on top of their progress and promote the list to the student's teachers until each student is out of risk. This allows for everyone involved in a student's education to monitor that student's academic performance, communicate about it, and make sure appropriate measures are being taken to keep a student on track. Student data can be filtered by performance criteria including: number of zeroes, chronic absences, grades, and grade trends. The service is provided by School Loop, a K-12 web hosting and school-to-home communication system. School Loop users can create a variety of trackers to suit their needs. The Personal Tracker can only be viewed by the creator, the School-wide Tracker is available to all users with access to the system, and the High Priority Tracker allows administrators to create high priority groups that are automatically added to teacher's dashboards. In addition, the Student Record allows educators to address a message to any or all of the members of a student's team, and parents and students can access team members and communicate with them with one click.
