Land of Me, The

This is a suite of computer downloads designed for children to play with adults. There are two titles currently available - Shape, Size & Colour and The World Outside - and four more titles will be released covering different themes including music and dance. Each title features the characters of Buddy Boo the bear, Eric the raccoon, and Willow the owl. In Shape, Size & Colour, your child is encouraged to use their imagination as they pretend to be monsters, hot air balloons, and more. They can choose their shape, size, and color and watch it come to life. In The World Outside, your child can explore the Land of Me by choosing the location, time of day and weather and having the characters transported to the place they've imagined. In both titles, when the images come to life a sentence appears at the top of the screen describing the scene. By simply changing a word (such as day to night or blue to green) you can change the image for your child. In addition, there is a steady stream of questions and talking points that appear in the upper right corner of your screen, to encourage you and your child to discuss what you see. You can also print out your creations, and make a variety of things including finger puppets, masks, and dioramas. Four more titles are scheduled for release by the end of the year.
