This gimmick-free app offers free-form letter and numeral tracing, with narration in English or Spanish. Content includes upper and lower case letters, and numerals 1 through 100. Other features include the ability to set the size of the line, and a "shake to erase" feature. The menu that controls the features is shown on the main screen, but it can be hidden. All aspects of the experience are child driven -- there are no bells and whistles -- just a self-correcting set of numerals and letters. When a letter or numeral is filled in, you hear it's name. That's it, along with the next letter or numeral in sequence. We reviewed the iPad version. You certainly can't argue with the price ($free).
