Art of Murder: Cards of Destiny
© 2010 City Interactive USA Inc.
If you like mystery-adventure games, you'll like this title, as long as you have the patience to stick with it through beginning, and don't mind the dark, rather creepy theme. In the story, FBI agent Nicole Bonnet (a young women) receives a mysterious package with a complex puzzle inside that appears to be a message from a serial killer. This killer leaves playing cards near the bodies of his victims. You must help Nicole solve the case and prevent the murderer from killing again by decoding the meaning of the messages, following the trail, and gathering evidence. While there's no obvious blood or gore, the theme is chilling -- for example you hear a victim screaming for help inside a garbage truck. It's not perfect -- it's really hard to figure out in the beginning and things are not clear. Fortunately you can cheat and use the question mark icons, which show you the hidden items on the screen.
