MeMoves (DVD)

This is a collection of follow-along gross motor body puzzles, ideal for children or adults. The puzzles are played from a non-interactive DVD that contains eight songs. There are multiple motions to go with each song, that vary in difficulty. To get started, you put the disk in your computer or standard DVD player, and start following along to the music (note that a good sound system is essential). Each song has a distinct "new age" sound to it, and is marked by the peaceful, steady metronome-like beat. The activities are grouped by theme, e.g., joy, calm and focus. In addition to the onscreen models, there's a set of textured cards that make it possible to practice the patterns with your fingers. The activities work like magic to focus a group of busy children (or adults). MeMoves is the second release from Thinking Moves. The first, with more complex routines, is sold by FableVision.
