Now available for the DS, this Bookworm game features three game modes: classic, action and multiplayer. It is an excellent spelling game, with instant feedback and the ability to freely experiment with a variety of spelling ideas. After you turn your DS like a book, and log into one of the three game save slots, you see a screen full of letter tiles. By connecting the letters with your stylus (up, down or diagonally) you can discover words. As with the game Scrabble, the longer the words, the more points. You can link letters in Action mode, play at your own pace in Classic mode, or for the first time in a Bookworm game, compete in a Multiplayer mode using either one or two cartridges. Content includes 20 themed puzzles, and your progress is tracked with stats and charts. In addition, the game features have been designed for dual-screen, vertical gameplay, allowing you to hold the DS like an actual book. Note that versions are also available for the iPhone/iPod Touch and computer.
