Like Club Penguin only with Cartoon Network characters, this browser-based massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) is free to get in, but requires payment for full access. In other words, it uses a velvet rope model, letting children in free, and then tempting them with additional features that require a payment of $50/year. Management features include a timer and the ability to turn on/off chat. After you choose your boy or girl avatar, you team with other players or Cartoon Network characters and visit one of the 60 playable areas. Your mission? To defend the Cartoon Network universe from an alien invasion. This virtual world was release on January 14, 2009, by Cartoon Network and Grigon Entertainment, this browser-based massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) is supported by Unity Technology, which allows the game to be played in most Internet browsers. The service uses Crisp Thinking’s NetModerator technology for additional safety.
