Exotic monsters that you help create are coming to your TV screen and handhelds, with this adaptation of the Spore game. First released last year for Mac & Windows, this version will run on the Wii, iPhone, iPod Touch and Nintendo DS. At the core of the game is the ability to make your own creature by mixing and matching parts, and then trying to use it to save your home world from destruction. In the Wii version, you use the Wii Remote to navigate throughout a 3D galaxy, as you hunt for 250 parts, each providing additional creature abilities. The Nintendo DS version, called Spore Hero Arena is a 1-4 player experience that can be played over Wi-Fi, that takes up where last year's Spore Creatures left off. After you make your creature, you visit a 3D galaxy as a setting for arena-based combat with your creature. By combining abilities, parts, and upgrades, players create a unique fighting style. Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena will be available fall 2009.
