Here's an online community with a green agenda where you earn merit badges for learning about topics like pollution, deforestation and drought. The site uses a velvet rope model -- getting in is free; additional games and features are reserved for paying members. ($5 for three months, $23 for six months and $39 for a year). We tried the free option and found the navigation to be very clumsy, but this could be browser related (we were using Safari on an older Macintosh).
