This Dora doll, and her horse Pegasus, are based on the new TV movie "Dora Saves the Snow Princess." When girls place Dora on Pegasus and insert a charm into the pouch on Pegasus' neck, they will unlock the story of Dora's Snow Princess Adventure, along with a song. In addition, you can press the buttons on Pegasus' neck to make him walk, and his wings are supposed to appear and flap while he "flies". Includes two barrettes and a comb for styling both Dora and Pegasus' hair. Requires 4 AA batteries, included. Other dolls in the collection (sold separately) include Snow Explorer Dora, Winter Star Dora, Shimmer & Skate Dora, Snow Crystal Dora, and the Sparkling Snow Twins. All Dora dolls can be put on Pegasus to unlock more stories. Reviewer notes (MaryBeth & Lisa): If you're looking for a toy to make your daughter cry, this is it. While Dora & Pegasus are beautiful to look at, they just don't deliver what they promise. When you place Dora on Pegasus' back and make him walk, he takes a few steps and then falls over, knocking Dora to the ground. This happens every time. In addition, sometimes he falls over even when Dora is not on his back. MaryBeth's 3 year old niece just got this for her birthday, and they said the same thing. So, if you don't mind hearing your daughter constantly yell "Mom, put Dora back on Pegasus, buy this. Otherwise, bag it.
