LeapFrog Learning Path
© 2008 LeapFrog
This is a web-based curriculum guide and content manager (think iTunes for learning) that works with recent Leapfrog devices, including the Tag Reader, didj, Leapster2 and Crammer. Once your product is synched with the site, you can either download new content, or upload your child's performance on specific games. In addition, the site recommends new software or Leapfrog products. So, while the concept is full of educational validity, there's also an obvious "but wait, there's more!" sales motive. To use the Learning Path, you must first setup an account for each child, by entering a name and birthday at www.leapfrog.com/learningpath. The software launches automatically when any USB enabled LeapFrog product is connected to either your Windows or Macintosh computer, providing there is an Internet connection.
