Easy to use but scripted and didactic, this website delivers math, science and reading curriculum (for K-5 students) and has excellent child tracking and record keeping features. There's also a nice variety of activities that could be useful as a supplement to an existing curriculum. The only drawback--in our opinion--is that the pedagogy is too stilted, and the reinforcements too excessive and not skippable. A better teaching style would have resulted in much better ratings. The assessment system, called success tracker, shows the problem and your answer. Content covers Language Arts, Math and Science for K-5. Education City was originally created in the UK, and is recently being exported to the US. Designed for school use, although there is no reason each child can't have their own password and screen name and log in from home.
