Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
© 2008 RedOctane/Activision
Aerosmith fans take note: this is the first time the band has appeared in any video game context. As another edition of Guitar Hero, there are no surprises. The content features the music of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer, whose movements have been digitized for a realistic effect. Players can experience Aerosmith's career, from their first gig to becoming rock legends. As they progress through the game, they can play the band's greatest hits, in typical Guitar Hero format. Our testers found the game to be "a typical Guitar Hero game." Developed by Neversoft (PS3 and Xbox 360); Vicarous Visions (Wii); and Budcat (PS2). The cost is $60 for Xbox 360 and PS3 ($100 for bundle with guitar); $50 for Wii and PS2 (bundle is $100 for Wii and $90 for PS2).
