Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue
© 2008 Brighter Minds Media, Inc.
Fun, fast and affordable, this Diner Dash sequel for one player mixes an addicting memory/action game with a storyline. In this edition, you take on the role of Flo, a busy waitress as she tries to keep the customers happy, taking orders, cleaning tables and collecting tips. There's some fun creative twists, such as seating annoying cell phone users away from other customers. The better you get, the greater the challenge. Fortunately, the game starts with an easy tutorial, so novice players can taste success. But soon, customers start showing up with (gasp) young children who start to cry if you don't get a high chair, for example. Some people need to be matched to a specific table (marked by colored chairs) which makes them happy. With each successful level, you can make an improvement to your restaurant, to save it from a greedy tycoon. The game features new characters, challenges, and power-ups and a fancy restaurant awarded to the winner. If you're looking for a fun memory game that is easy to learn, this is a good choice.
