The Hip Pop Dance Jammer can be clipped on allowing you to dance along to the music. There are three modes of play: Jam Mode - just start moving and the music plays; Beat Box Modes - the rhythm goes as fast as you do; and Freeze Dance Mode - you dance until the music tells you stop. It requires 3 AAA batteries, not included. There are different versions available. The Camp Rock version plays "Play My Music", "We Rock", and "Start the Party". The High School Musical version plays "What Time Is It?", "I Don't Dance", and "We're All In This Together".
