This is an interactive book written in graphic-novel format. Max explains the science behind electricity, including how it is produced and how electricity is distributed. Using powers he acquired in a freak accident, Max teaches science by shrinking to explore an atom or riding a sound wave. The browser-based format lets readers progress through the book at their own pace, although the format is not that interactive, other than the ability to turn pages. The program runs in Flash player and requires no installation on current Macintosh or Windows computers. Note: we choose not to rate this book with our rating scale because the format is not really interactive.
