Animal Babies ABC
© 2007 Capstone Press
This dry, 27-page "interactive" alphabet book by Barbara Cox is actually not very interactive, but the pictures of the baby animals are clear and fun to look at. Each page is read in clear but stilted narration. The authors obviously wanted to emphasize clarity over expression. However, there's no storyline or record keeping. Designed for English Language Learners (ELL) students, emergent readers, and struggling readers who want to improve their reading skills, the program runs in Flash Player and requires no installation on current Macintosh or Windows computers.
