Part of a series of English/Spanish books, Bajo las olas 1, 2, 3 / Under the Sea 1, 2, 3 is a 27-page counting book that presents a variety of ocean creatures. The browser-based format features easy navigation tools that let readers progress through the book at their own pace. The only problem? The book isn't interactive. For example, a reader might sea a picture of a bird mixed in with some fish, that asks, "Which doesn't belong?" Clicking on the bird has no effect. The content is presented in both English and Spanish. The program runs in Flash player and requires no installation on current Macintosh or Windows computers. Note: we choose not to rate this book with our rating scale because the format is not interactive.
